KUB Power Sdn Bhd is involved in all scopes of work within the power industry, including substation and transmission line construction, the supply and installation of electrical infrastructure for private companies and electrical maintenance contracts. It has completed several notable projects including the 500kV Switchyard Erection, Testing and Commissioning for TNB Janamanjung, Power Station, Perak and the Supply and Erection of two 132/33/11kV substations including switchgears, ancillaries and civil works at Ulu Melaka, Langkawi and Bukit Mertajam, Seberang Prai for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). KUB Power will be undertaking a joint venture with Konsortium Kontraktor Melayu (Malaysia) Berhad. This JV has been appointed as the anchor company entrusted with the task of nurturing small and medium electrical contractors while helping to expand Bumiputera company participation in other sub-sectors of the power industry such as trading, manufacturing and privatisation.
